SOCIOVIA

Bar games for people who haven't met yet.

1. Get on the bar's WiFi. That's the entire install — no account, no app store, nothing to download.
2. Join a table, or start one and read the four letters out loud to the people you want to play.
3. Pick a colour and a symbol so you can actually find each other across a dark, loud room.
4. Play something daft. The game is the excuse. Talking to strangers is the point.

The app does the two things this page cannot: it hosts a table from the phone itself, so a game works with no laptop and no internet at all, and it finds tables on the WiFi so nobody reads an address out loud. Your phone will ask you to allow the install — it is signed with the standard Android debug key rather than a store one. All versions.
